Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things (IoT) are framing the vision of manufacturing in the future. In this highly automated mode of production, sensors and the ability t prcess and analyze this data enable machines and products to „talk“, interact and learn with one another, while providing continuous information to those monitoring the flow at other relevant parts of the value chain.
Last months we have been visiting SANDVIK Coromant – a Swedish specialist in the machining process. And we could see what can happen if business and production data come together in new ways – connecting the most vital parts of your business – people, assets, processes and systems. Looks like the future is already here to stay. The good thing we have seen is that robotics doesn’t mean that factories are de-humanizing. Actually, the opposite seems to be true.
Have a look at the result 😉
